In that mail, please find Delivery. Underneath Delivery, you will find Taiwan Post Office or FedEx…etc., then your tracking number is shown behind Tracking. They could be RGxxxxxxxxxTW (registered air parcels for Asia, Europe...), CGxxxxxxxxTW (registered air package for USA, Spain…), xxxxxxxxxxx (12 digit for FedEx).
Q: When can I expect to receive my order?
A: Normally, it takes 10-15 business days, but there are a few factors that can affect the delivery timeframe. We ship out your order within 24 hours on weekdays.
a. how fast your shipment is handled at our postal service.
b. all parcels and packages must be checked by customs. They must pass a random check at customs (outbound at ours and inbound at yours). There is possibility yours is picked up and take additional 5-7 days before it is released to postal system.
c. timing of a parcel to be transported to its next stop. Be aware that there are many stops.
d. weather condition. We have "typhoons" every summer and could still have a few in autumn. Also some of your local bad weather might affect parcel’s transportation.
e. holiday may also cause delay of a day or two either it is our holiday or yours. Our holidays are very different from yours.
f. peak season or not. Christmas could be the most severe case every year. Please plan to order your gifts earlier.
g. others like unexpected strikes
h. earthquakes. Taiwan is on the edge where Eurasian Plate and Philippine Sea Plate are. We have more than 20,000 earthquakes each year with roughly 400 felt earthquakes. We just had a big one on Apr. 3, 2024.
Q: I received my previous 3 orders in 5-10 days, why is my 4th order not reaching me in 3 weeks?
A: Please read answer of previous question. Sometimes you got lucky that post office processed your order with all perfect conditions and customs did not hold it for checking. Your 4th order might not be as lucky as 3 previous orders.
Q: Why was my order canceled and I received the refund?
A: We reserve the right to take your order or not. 99.9% of our customers are the best we can ever have and it is always a great pleasure to provide our products and service to you. But there are still a few whom we do not feel comfortable to deal with again. We keep those data on a list. If we do that to you, you are on our list.
Q: Can I get my order delivered within 5 days or a week?
A: No one including FedEx can guarantee us as you requested. To avoid unnecessary dispute, we will not take your order.
Q: Why my order was not shipped the same day I ordered?
A: We only work on weekdays. And we normally go to post office at 14:00 Taipei time. If your order comes in after 14:00 of our Friday, it will be shipped out next Monday.
Q: Do you accept eCheck?
A: As long as PayPal accepts it, we are fine. But eCheck takes 5-14 days to cash in, so we will hold your order until we receive confirmation from PayPal that your payment is cleared.
Q: Do you do any customized size? I need 10 each of 1.5x3mm and 1.5x4.5mm in green.
A: Yes, but 1.5x3mm is not possible (too short). For 1.5x4.5mm, you need to order 300pcs at a time. Lead time could be 6-8 months, prepaid only.
Q: I ordered and found out that I no longer need them. Why do I not get full refund after asking you to cancel my order?
A: PayPal changed their policy on refunding (around Mar. 2020). They charged 4.4% + $0.30 on each transaction. This fee is not refundable. So we deduct this fee while we do the order cancellation and refund. We will also charge you a $2 cancellation fee.
Q: I encountered a problem to complete my order at your webstore, but I still wish to buy. How do I do?

A: All the pricing here are for ONE PIECE of vial, not all you see on picture.

A: We could set our prices higher and wait for you to bargain with us. But that is not how we do business. For first time buyer, we can talk when you prepare to order 300pcs at a time. Otherwise, please kindly understand your request will be ignored. For those who have bought several times, we are open to talk for 150pcs up.
Q: Do you sell tritium vials in bulk? If so, can I get a discount?
A: Yes, we do. But you need to define your "bulk". You may think 50pcs is bulk to you. It is 300 to us to call it bulk.
Q: How to cure Norland NOA61 UV adhesive with a 365nm UV flashlight or similar light source when I try to fix a 1.5x6mm vial into a milled slot?
A: Recommend you to find a tiny wire or copper wire roughly 0.5mm in diameter. Dip into NOA61 and apply a tiny drop of NOA61 glue on the bottom of slot, put the vial in and adjust its place in center. Turn on your UV light source and keep it as close as possible to the vial. Apply more NOA61 to level up the slot, cure it for longer time. NOA61 shrinks a little (no data from Norland but my experience is around 5-8%) when it is cured. So you may try to apply slightly more while you level up on the slot.
Q: Why do you offer 18G needle?
A: On two purposes. For larger slot where using tiny copper wire to dip and apply NOA61 is far too slow and painful. So a 18G needle will be included IF YOU ASK FOR IT. If you do not ask for 18G needle, we will put a pipette in your order. The other usage of this needle is for creating a vacuum chamber to degas NOA61. NOA61 has invisible bubble that will show up when it is cured. For small slot with tiny little vial, this is not a problem unless you are really keen for perfection.
Degassing: Find a small rubber pad, use a 3cc or 5cc syringe to intake 0.5-1.0cc NOA61. Press the needle on the rubber pad, pull the handle up and you create a simple vacuum chamber and will see the bubble. It takes time for them to float up. Flipping on the syringe may help a little. By doing so, NOA61 in front portion of the syringe has less bubble.
Note: Be aware that bubble can be decreased significantly but can never be removed 100%. Use a professional vacuum chamber if you have one.
Remark 1: You need to flatten the needle and get syringe by yourself (recommend 3cc one).
Remark 2: We DO NOT offer syringe. It might create unnecessary trouble when shipments pass your customs.
Q: Do you warrant your vials or key fobs?
A: Unfortunately, we DO NOT. You must be aware of the fact that it may break if handled improperly like dropping or throwing onto ground hard. We do not answer request of replacement of broken vials.
Q: I ordered and checked out, then I found that I need to buy a few more. How should I do?
A: Easy. Send us a mail informing us which item, color, quantity you wish to add, we will send you an invoice from PayPal so you need not to order again and be forced to pay shipping fee again. Please give us time to do this. We live in a very different time zone.
Q: Can I have my registered air package not requiring me to sign for?
A: Please notify us to add "DO NOT require signature on delivery" on your package. This request can only be a WISH. Your postman has the right to decide if he/she will not ask you to sign for or not.
Q: Can vials be cut to length, or bent to shape?
A: No and no. If you succeed to do that, I will work with you and recommend our supplier to work with you as well.
Q: I asked a question, why did I not hear from you?
A: Please check your spam folder. Or if you were asking question we are not comfortable to answer, we will not respond. For example, we were asked to provide our supplier’s details, cost we bought from them.
Q: Why am I asked to upgrade my order to FedEx shipping?
A: No one can ask postal system and customs to do their job better or faster. You must have asked us to do a task that was out of our control. So FedEx may be the only option we can still take your order. It costs more, but they are the most reliable and efficient method we have ever experienced. You need to pay more for faster service. Postal system is not for you.
Q: What would you suggest to install a vial in a hole?
A: The diameter of the hole should be at least 0.2-0.3mm wider than the vial. If it is a blind hole, the depth should also be 0.3-0.5mm deeper than vial's length. NEVER use any sharp tip object to push the vial into a tight-fitting hole. Vials are most vulnerable on both ends as they were cut and sealed with laser instrument.
If you really need to push a vial into a hole, make sure the hole is bigger than the vial. To push the vial, use a flat end bar similar to vial’s diameter.
Be aware that once a vial is broken, it is gone forever and can never be repaired. We do not do any free replacement for any dead vials.
Q: Can I use crazy glue to fix the vials?
A: No, we do not recommend you to use that. And yes, if you insist and do not mind white smoking mark. Transparent Norland NOA61 UV adhesive is widely used by many flashlight enthusiastic for installing tritium vials on their pricey flashlights. You can use transparent silicon as well, if you do not have any NOA61 in hands.
Q: Why my red vials are not as bright as those green ones?
A: Check the brightness chart on the bottom of our home page. All colors have their own wavelengths. Red is simply 20% of brightness if green is 100%. Green is the brightest and most sensitive to our naked eyes.
